This policy explains what personal data NumbersDaily.io collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
NumbersDaily.io is run by Peter Šlibar s.p., Slovenia, who is the controller of your personal data.

What we collect and why
- Your date of birth
- When you use the Life Path calculator, your date of birth and Life Path number are saved only in your own browser (local storage), so your reading appears when you come back. They are never sent to us. You can delete them at any time with the "Forget my date of birth" button or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- The email list
- If you join the list, we store your email address, the date and time you joined, the version of the consent text you agreed to, your time zone and, if you calculated it, your Life Path number. We use them to send you the NumbersDaily daily message and occasional news about NumbersDaily, to send it at the right time of day and to personalise it, and to be able to show that you gave consent. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Visit statistics
- We count visits with our own simple counter, without cookies and without storing IP addresses. For each visit we record the time, the website or campaign you came from (for example "tiktok"), whether you use a phone or a computer, and whether you used the calculator, shared the message, made a story image or joined the list. To count each visitor only once per day, we create an anonymous code from your IP address, your browser and a secret value that changes every day and is then deleted. Visits on different days cannot be linked to each other or to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These records are deleted after 400 days.
- Technical logs
- Like every website, our hosting server automatically records technical data for each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted automatically through the hosting provider's regular log rotation.
Cookies and tracking
NumbersDaily.io uses no cookies, no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers. Visit statistics are counted on our own server as described above. Fonts are served from our own server, so visiting the site sends no data to third parties. The only thing stored on your device is your date of birth and Life Path number, and only after you enter them, because that is the feature you asked for.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Who receives your data
- Hosting: Neoserv hosts the website and stores the email list on our behalf, on servers in Slovenia (EU), under a data processing agreement.
- AI-written messages: the message of the day is written by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, using only calendar data for that date (the day's numbers, the weekday's planet, the Moon's nakshatra and the Chinese sign of the day). No visitor data is ever sent to it.
- Email delivery: when the daily emails begin, an email service provider will send them on our behalf. We will name it in this policy before the first email is sent.
We never sell or rent your personal data and never share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your email list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the daily emails have not launched within 12 months of your signup, we delete your data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before. To use any of these rights, email hello@numbersdaily.io. We reply within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Slovenia this is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si. You can also contact the authority in your own country.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send will contain an unsubscribe link and our postal address. You can also unsubscribe by emailing us. We act on every request promptly and never later than 10 business days.
Visitors from the United States
We collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers (your email address) and information you choose to provide (your Life Path number and time zone). We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California law. Because we do not track visitors across websites, "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the site works: no visitor is tracked. You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you or to delete it by emailing hello@numbersdaily.io.
Age
NumbersDaily is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The email list is stored outside the public part of the web server, and only we have access to it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
